Men

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

The goal of our Men’s Ministry is to help our men grow spiritually so that they might become all that God intended for them to be in their home, in their workplace, in the community, and in the church. We do this by providing opportunities  for fellowship, Bible study, and personal growth. Below are some of the opportunities available to our men.

Men's activities

Guys and Fun

This ministry is all about guys getting together to do things they love to do and build friendships in the process! At this time we have two “fun” events that we provide: Guys & Guns, and Guys & Golf.

Men's Breakfast

Plan to join us Saturday, October 5 from 8 - 10 am in the Fellowship hall for a delicious breakfast, good fellowship, and the opportunity to hear one of our guys teach and share about issues that affect us as men.

Men's Fall Studies

This 6 volume series is best described as “A journey into authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus in his 33 years on earth”. This series covers the following categories of manhood:
  • A Man and His Design
  • A Man and His Story
  • A Man and His Traps
  • A Man and His Work
  • A Man and His Marriage
  • A Man and His Fatherhood
This dynamic presentation is designed to first capture a man’s attention and then his heart. The goal is a new vision for manhood and a changed life. We consider this study material to be essential and encourage every man at CCC to go through it!  New sessions begin each fall.
The Fall 2019  session begins Thursday, September 19 at 7 pm in E5
Most Christians have people in their lives who they're sure will never come to faith. Whether they're too committed to their sinful ways, too angry at God, or too quick to shut down any mention of the saving grace of Jesus, these long shots don't seem worth approaching.

But some of the most unlikely converts have the strongest faith stories, and they can be a source of incredible encouragement for Christians who are trying to evangelize those around them. Unlikely Converts encourages us to remember that while the Great Commission requires us to share the good news, it does not require perfection, only confidence in the message.

This fall study, led by Carlon Tschetter will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Carlon's office beginning September 11. It will involve some weekly reading and preparation.

Search the Scriptures

Mike Fisher’s Sunday night men’s “Search the Scriptures” Bible study is a continuing study that can be joined at any time. Registration is not required. The study meets Sunday evenings in the Conference room across from the church office from 6:30 – 8:00. The purpose of this study is to be accountable to God by getting to know Him and His Word personally to a greater depth. Another purpose is to be accountable to other men in study, prayer and life. Advanced preparation is required. For more information about this study use the contact form below. We would love to have you join this study!
