One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.
Psalm 145:4

For the future capital campaign

As Psalm 145 reminds us, it is our responsibility to pass down the blessings of our faith from one generation to the next. Just as we have benefited from the foundation laid before us, it is now our turn to invest For The Future.

Our church is experiencing an exciting season of growth, with new families joining us weekly and our children and youth ministries are thriving. However, our current facilities, graciously provided in 1983, are no longer sufficient to meet our needs. The demand for space is urgent, and we must act now to ensure the safety and care of all our church family.

faqs

When will work begin?

We will start as soon as cash and commitments come in that indicated our ability to take on this project.

How long will it take?

At this point, no one knows the answer to that. We would like to move ahead as quickly as possible. We are already a bit crowded in some rooms so the need is immediate.

How will we raise the money?

We will give everyone the opportunity to think and pray about their involvement. Then we will ask that Commitment Cards be turned in by June 30, indicating how much has been committed to the For the Future fund.

What if I can't fulfill my commitment?

This is a step of faith for all of us. We are trusting God to do what only He can. No one knows with certainty their financial future. Someone may not be able to do all that they had hoped while some one else may be able to do more. We are all trusting God together.

Will there be any debt incurred?

There will be no long term indebtedness. There could be some short-term debt, often called a construction loan that would be covered by amounts committed but not yet given. The Elder Board is committed to doing this expansion without putting the church in debt.

Should we start a project like this in these uncertain times?

This is a faith venture. We know that only God can accomplish what is planned in this expansion. There will always be challenges. The community around us continues to grow. There will never be a perfect time to start a building expansion. The Elder Board asks you to join them in prayer so we can discern God's leading in the coming days. By God's grace and the generosity of His people, we can together expand the vision for our church and community as we trust God For the Future!
