They have one son, Josiah and are also foster parents; Andy and his wife Kristin also live in Yukon with their son Wyatt and daughter Josie. Andy is a OKC police officer and Captain in the Army Guard, as is his wife Kristin; Mark and his wife Angel live in Yukon. Mark is an OHP trooper. They have twin daughters, Savannah and Kenzie.
Carlon enjoys working on and around the house, sports of any kind, a round of golf with his three sons and reading a good book. He also serves on the Trustee Board of Grace University in Omaha, from where he and Bonnie both graduated. Bonnie teaches Simply Music, a new method for teaching piano. She leads the single moms community group on Sunday mornings, and directs the CCC choir for their special programs every Resurrection-Easter Sunday and at Christmas.
