The goal of our Men’s Ministry is to help our men grow spiritually so that they might become all that God intended for them to be in their home, in their workplace, in the community, and in the church. We do this by providing opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, and personal growth. The following are some of the opportunities available to our men:
33 The Series: Authentic Manhood: This multi-volume series is best described as “A journey into authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus in his 33 years on earth”. Volume I begins this series with meaningful insights into the current state of manhood and helps men navigate through some manhood realities that have created cultural confusion. It follows by unfolding God’s manhood mandates for all men and offering a clear definition of Authentic Manhood that helps guide men on their journey. Each man will learn the four faces of manhood and how to anticipate and transition through the specific seasons of life. New studies begin each fall here at CCC.
Guys & Fun: This ministry is all about guys getting together to do things they love to do and build friendships in the process! At this time we have two “fun” areas that we provide: Guys & Guns, and Guys & Golf.
Men’s Breakfast: Two times each year we gather up for a delicious breakfast, good fellowship, and the opportunity to hear one of our guys teach and share about issues that affect us as men.
Small Group Bible Studies: In our Men’s Ministry we emphasize the importance of gathering up in small groups for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. We have men’s groups that meet at various times during the week. If you would like to know more about these groups contact Ron Jarrett, our Pastor of Care & Connection, at 354-9338 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will be glad to help you find the right place for you.
